The Warren County Regional Chamber of Commerce was originally incorporated in 1979 as the Hackettstown Chamber of Commerce. The organization went through several incarnations before reaching its current status as a regional entity serving not only Warren County businesses but also representatives from neighboring Sussex, Warren and Hunterdon counties.

In 2004, the Chamber moved into its current home at 10 Brass Castle Road in Washington and under the direction of President/CEO Robert Goltz is thriving in its efforts to support, grow and maintain Warren County businesses.

“The Chamber is a growing entity because the board of directors and members have a vision of a strong business community.  Knowing this the Chamber has expanded its programs and services to meet individual members needs.  Also, the organization has taken advantage of opportunities that have opened up in the community to promote and strengthen the business climate.” Stated Robert Goltz

The Chamber has established relationships with educational, community, government and civic organizations. It has incorporated into its plan the establishment of business councils that are focused on individual communities. These currently include the Blairstown Business Association Council, Hackettstown Area Council, Phillipsburg Area Council and Warren Hills Council.

In 2001, the Warren County Regional Chamber of Commerce entered into an Economic Development Contract with the Warren County Board of Freeholders to oversee and encourage healthy county-wide development.

Goltz stated, “Economic Development is best done through a private / public partnership.  The Chamber is the best avenue to bring both groups to the table to work together for the best outcome in building Warren County.  The Chamber is working hard at meeting the task in front of us to build leading businesses in leading communities.”

Today's Warren County Regional Chamber of Commerce reaches out to the businesses - large and small - with a comprehensive agenda of seminars, networking events and links to education and training opportunities.

In March 2007, the Chamber again expanded it’s services to include the Warren County Convention & Visitor Bureau (www.visitwarren.com).  This was an extension of the Economic Development Contract with the County Freeholders.   The goal of this program of work is to promote Warren County as a tourist destination in New Jersey.

The Warren County Regional Chamber of Commerce will continue to expand and meet the needs of Warren County and the surrounding areas.  Current plans include creating satellite offices for the organization in the Phillipsburg area and expanding economic development services.  The Chamber strength is in its leadership and vision of our members, so there is no limit to what the future holds in store.
